Which bus or tram should I take?
From Amsterdam Central Station, you can take bus line 21 or 18 to the Van Hallstraat stop. From there, it is less than a 10-minute walk. Tram lines 3 and 5 also stop near Westerpark.
Is the location also accessible by metro?
Yes, you can take Metro Line 52 (North/South Line) to De Pijp station or Central Station. From there, you can easily transfer to a bus or tram towards Westerpark.
Can I park at Amsterdam in Motion?
Paid parking spaces are available around Westerpark, but the number of spots is limited and the rates are high.
Is there a cheaper parking option?
Yes, a convenient and affordable option is to park at a P+R facility on the outskirts of Amsterdam (such as P+R ArenA or P+R Zeeburg) and continue your journey from there by public transport.
Are there parking spaces for disabled people?
Yes, special parking spaces are available for visitors with disabilities at the entrances to Westergas.
What are the opening hours of Amsterdam in Motion?
Monday to Friday: 10:00 - 17:00 Saturday and Sunday: 10:00 - 18:00
Is Amsterdam in Motion accessible to wheelchair users?
Yes, all exhibition spaces are fully wheelchair accessible. An elevator is available to reach the different floors, and the grandstand in the experience has special wheelchair spaces.
Are all rooms wheelchair accessible?
Almost all of them. The exhibition spaces are, but the educational space is currently not wheelchair accessible. (However, this space is only open for specific school visits).
What facilities are available for visitors with a disability?
There is an accessible toilet available in the building. Additionally, there are seating areas in various locations to take a short break.
I need an accompanying person. Do they also need to buy a ticket?
No, personal companions of visitors who require it receive free access.
Can I bring my service dog?
Yes, guide dogs and registered assistance animals are welcome.
